Australia invests AU$9m into Chinese solar energy company

As major economies across the world intensify commitments to reducing carbon impacts, ongoing developments in renewable energy technologies will play a vital role. Here, Australia is backing a new flexible solar panel technology to be a ‘winner’ in this emerging landscape.


The government-owned Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) has invested $US7 million (AU$9.6m) into Sunman, a Shanghai-based company, delivering an equity stake of 14%.
