New to here, just want to create a intro post and pose a question. My name is Alex Fraser, kiwi who grew up in China. I do all sorts of events from government delegations to translation and family tours around NZ. Background is accounting but I don't really like the office lifestyle so my next new project is restoring three old Toyota MR2s. Wanting to document the process but no idea what's ideal. Thoughts?

Hey Alex it is great to have you on board! Documenting the process is one of those things that can add massive value. Just about to head into a meeting but will be back to continue this thread.
That’s awesome Alex. I love the Toyota MR2. I bought and restored one in Christchurch, New Zealand more than a decade ago. I’ll share some photos when I can find them. Simon can get you set up with agreements that allow us to promote your services here to the RCN community. Welcome to the family.
Wow, Glyn are you a member of the mr2 owners club? You probably have knowledge I would like =]
I also have a question, under both your names it always says base camp. What does this mean? It's not related to the Basecamp software is it? (Used to use last year with a US firm and it's triggers that in me)
Hi Alex, this forum has badges to show experience level in China. We compare business with China to climbing a mountain of opportunity. Base Camp is the beginning. We have other badges as well, but Base Camp is the one showing up here.
Got I, makes sense so it's like climbing s mountain. Maybe you could make a post in forum explaining this and all different levels?
That is a brilliant idea. :)
